NBT Editor Online
Drop a .dat or .nbt file below to open it as an editable tree. gzip, zlib and uncompressed NBT are detected automatically, and exports keep the original format.
Drop your .dat / .nbt file here
or click to choose a file — level.dat, playerdata, structures, servers.dat…
Editor notes
- Privacy: this editor has no backend. Parsing, editing and export happen entirely in your browser — the file is never uploaded.
- Backups: keep a copy of the original file before replacing anything in your save folder. A broken level.dat can make a world unopenable.
- Types matter: tags have fixed types (Int, Long, Float…). The editor validates ranges, so a value that does not fit its type is rejected instead of silently truncated.
- Lists: an NBT list has one element type. In an empty list you can choose the type for its first item.
- Long numbers: 64-bit values keep full precision (they are handled as BigInt, not as floating point).
